If
you were to study for a math test would you be focusing on every single number
that created every math problem possible, or would you focus on understanding
the formula that can give you the answer every time you apply it to the math
problem that’s presented?
In math it’s not the
memorization of All the numbers used to make up the answer that is desired to
be learned, it’s the understanding of the formula that that we seek, because
once we learn that formula, we understand how to come up with the right answer
each and every time.
When reading a book, then
taking a test on that book, it’s not each and every word written that told the
story that’s tested, it’s the understanding of the plot, defined as the events
that makes up the story, predominantly as they relate to one another, in a
pattern, in succession, through cause and effect, or by coincidence.
Forget every word and remember
the lesson, Stop focusing on the numbers and learn the formula that gives you
the answer so can accomplish the problem that’s presented. Life Lessons can be some of the most difficult
things to learn, make it easier on yourself, learn to study wisely and listen
to your Teacher. ~ Carlene Altom 4-22-12
